LESBIAN, GAY, BI-SEXUAL, AND TRANSGENDER
HEALTH CARE RESOURCES
University Health Services is committed to providing culturally competent, confidential, and high quality
health care for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender students. Clinicians and staff are committed to
providing a "safe place" for students to discuss their health concerns.
In addition to the general collection of books, periodicals and resources provided through Pattee Library,
there are numerous publications specific to LGBT issues in the Health Promotion and Wellness Department, 201 Student Health Center, 863-2500.
The following health brochures are available in the library of the UHS Office of Health Promotion and
Education (201 Student Health Center) or the LGBT Student Resource Center (101 Boucke): Health Care for Lesbian and
Bisexual Women, Woman to Woman, and Man to Man.
Health promotion programs may be requested from UHS staff to address LGBT students' needs. Please contact
Health Promotion and Wellness in 201 Student Health Center or e-mail
Susan Kennedy, Associate Director for Educational Services,
for more information.
