Career Services professional on any career-related concern such
as:
major/career decisions
occupation information
salary statistics
networking
job shadowing
internship
summer job
full-time job
graduate school
resume
cover letters
interviewing
negotiating salaries/
evaluating job offers
The counselor may be able to answer your question(s)
in the 10-15 minute session and/or refer you to our other services
to address your concern.
Individual Career Counseling
One of the services you can be referred to from Drop-In is Individual Career Counseling. Career planning is often a challenging process that can be complicated by many factors. Students in all phases of career development can benefit from career counseling. Career Counselors can help you with three major tasks:
Clarifying career direction
Gaining experience
Searching for an internship/job or applying to graduate school
Meet with the Drop-In Counselor for help in setting up your first appointment. Career Counseling appointments are 50- minute sessions and are available for all Penn State students.
