What is the Multicultural Internship Program?

The Purpose
  • Matching qualified students with quality employers.
The Goals
  • To assist students in defining, exploring, and revising career goals.
  • To assist students in developing skills and other tools necessary in applying for, interviewing with, and succeeding in the internship of their choice.
  • To provide employers with qualified, motivated individuals eager to learn and apply their skills in an internship setting.

Steppin' Up Conference
Career Workshops and Diversity Networking Event
Sunday, February 15, 2009
1:00 pm - 6:30 pm at the HUB-Robeson Center

The newly revamped Steppin' Up event will provide opportunities for students from underrepresented groups to develop and refine career decision-making and job search skills through interactive presentations and networking seminars with employer representatives from various career areas.

This event is co-sponsored by: The Pennsylvania State University Career Services, Multicultural Resource Center, Center for Women Students, LGBTA Student Resource Center, and Office of Disability Services, Lock Haven University Career Services and Human & Cultural Diversity Office

Pre-Registration for the Conference is required! Registration ends Monday, February 9.
