Since Peace Corps started in 1961, Penn State has
sent over 750 volunteers to 104 countries. The Peace Corps has allowed
Penn State graduates an opportunity for personal growth, a lifetime
experience, and an opportunity to continue on in graduate schools.
How many people can truly say they have had the experience to live
and interact with another culture for two years and learn a new
language, a growing asset in today’s job market?
