It is good to start looking
at resources (e.g., internship vacancy listings and directories)
and sending letters of inquiry/cover letters and résumés
at least nine months before you intend to do an internship, as
the process takes time and some companies will have early deadlines.
However, it is not too late to look for internships at four or
five months beforehand. It is still possible to get internships
after that, but the opportunities become much more limited. Please
