Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start looking for an internship?

It is good to start looking at resources (e.g., internship vacancy listings and directories) and sending letters of inquiry/cover letters and résumés at least nine months before you intend to do an internship, as the process takes time and some companies will have early deadlines. However, it is not too late to look for internships at four or five months beforehand. It is still possible to get internships after that, but the opportunities become much more limited. Please visit Drop-in Counseling at 111 Bank of America Career Services Center, open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to learn about the resources.
