Violence Against
Women Grant

Violence Against Women on Campus Grant: 2000-2006

Purpose: This project, which was funded by the Department of Justice for five years, involved departments at University Park in collaboration with community entities. This project built a coordinated approach to address violence against women and created a model program of campus and community collaboration that can be replicated at all Penn State locations. The four main goals of this program are to:

• Enhance campus/community collaboration.
• Enhance services to victims of violence.
• Improve education and prevention programs.
• Improve judicial affairs training.
