Roy W. Baker, Director

Dr. Roy W. BakerDr. Roy W. Baker is originally from Richmond, Virginia. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi National Fraternity where he has served as Regional Governor for the Empire Region in New York and Chapter Advisor for the Psi Chapter at Cornell University, Epsilon Psi at Slippery Rock University, and Epsilon Upsilon at Georgia College and State University. He is also actively involved in the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella where he serves as a judge for the annual international competition. Dr. Baker has been involved in fraternity and sorority affairs during the past 25 years, served as Dean of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs at Bucknell University and Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affiars at Syracuse University, and has been nationally recognized for his programs and initiatives. He earned a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Virginia, a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.

Susan LeGalley, Assistant Director

Susan LeGalleySusan LeGalley joined the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life as Assistant Director and Panhellenic Advisor in July of 2008. Susan is originally from Davison, Michigan. She is a member of Delpa Phi Epsilon Sorority where she has served as the Regional Coordinator for the Michigan chapters, Director of Community and Personal Enrichment, and the Director of Alumnae. Prior to working at Penn State, Susan was the Assistant Director of Student Activities for Greek Life at Creighton University. She earned a Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Michigan at Flint.

Ivan Ceballos, Graduate Assistant

Ivan CeballosIvan Ceballos, a native of Miami, Florida, earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from The University of Florida and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in College Student Affairs at Penn State University. He joined the Zeta Beta chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 2004 and has served as chapter president as well as delegate to the Multicultural Greek Council expansion committee. He has also served his chapter as secretary, historian, and alumni relations chair. Ivan is a Graduate Assistant to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and advises the Multicultural Greek Council. He also will take a part in the planning and coordination of certain FSL events such as Greek Week, Governing Council Retreat, and Greek Community Speakers.

Jean Welling, Staff Assistant

Jean WellingJean Welling, a native of Washington, Pennsylvania, has lived in Centre County since 1970. She left a career in retail management in the early 1980's and joined the Penn State team as the Greek Council Office secretary. In 1990, she moved to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. She has been working with and helping fraternity men and sorority women for over twenty years at Penn State. In May 2004, she graduated Penn State with an Associate Degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda adult academic honorary fraternity.

Jean is able to help chapters with grade and membership reporting, resources that the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life has for students and chapters, and setting meetings with any staff member. Additionally, Jean is a notary public who can notarize simple forms for students.

Dena Linn, Staff Assistant

Dena LinnDena Linn, a native of Bellefonte, Pensylvania, comes to us from Penn State University Outreach, Continuing and Distance Education. Along with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, she will be working with the Office of Student Activities in New Student Programs. In 1990, she graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory Winchester, Virginia, with a Bachelors degree in Music and Musical Theater. Dena is a member of Alpha Psi Omega, Omicron Delta Chapter, National Honorary Theatre Society.
