| |
We Are: |
Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity has more than 17,000 male and female student members at 366 college campuses nationwide. Its mission is to prepare campus and community leaders through service. Its purpose is to develop leadership, to promote friendship and to provide service to humanity. Our chapter of Alpha Phi Omega has developed a comprehensive, four-tier service program. We dedicate our time to volunteerism in the nation, in the community, on our campus, and within our fraternity. There are about 45 brothers in Alpha Beta; this enables us to make a big impact, while developing and maintaining close relationships with each other. |
| |
To Join: |
Information Sessions are held throughout the first few weeks of each semester. Then you join the pledging period for membership, during which perspective members learn about Alpha Phi Omega and our history.
Members pay a basic membership fee of $60/semester. All members (including pledges) have a basic minimum service requirement of 20 hours over the course of the semester, and all service projects are planned by our service committee. Our weekly meetings are on Wednesdays. During one’s pledge period we ask that he or she attend an additional pledge meeting to learn more about our chapter. Members must all choose a committee to be on and serve one committee requirement, whether it is: Service, Leadership, Fellowship, or Public Relations
