The Association of Residence Hall Students (ARHS) is a student advocacy group representing nearly 13,000 students living in the residence hall system on campus. For more information, contact ARHS at (814) 863-2747.

Would you like to get involved with a Special Living Option?

Special Living Options or SLO's are residence hall communities dedicated to specific topics of interest. For more information about Special Living Options, please contact the Office Residence Life office at (814) 863-1710.

Interested in opportunities for leadership in the residence halls?

The Resident Assistant (RA program) and Community Assistant/Ambassador program could be the start you need. For more information about the RA process, please call Residence Life at (814) 863-1710 or check out the resident assistant site.

Looking for volunteer opportunities in the Residence Halls?
For our returning students, arrival and Welcome Week is a time for you to help our new students' transition to Penn State and ensure a successful first few days of college! The Welcome Week Leader/Hall Hauler position is a volunteer program in which students have the opportunity to assist in both move-in and a variety of programs sponsored by different units within the University.
