Advisory Board
Purpose
In conjunction with the mission and goals of SARA, the functions of
the advisory board are as follows:
- To consult with the Director in determining priorities for the
office and in identifying needs and concerns
- To serve as a source of expertise to assure the quality and
validity of the assessment projects and to improve the operations
of the office
- To promote SARA and the use of data to inform decisions about
resources and services
- To generate ideas for furthering the role of SARA within Student
Affairs and the Penn State community
- To assist in identifying ways to collaborate and cultivate partners
in assessment efforts.
Membership
Members include faculty, staff, and students who represent stakeholders
of SARA and/or are colleagues and experts in student affairs/higher
education research and assessment. Current members on the board are
listed on the right side of the page.
Meetings
The Advisory Board meets twice a semester or as needed. |
