Advisory Board

Purpose
In conjunction with the mission and goals of SARA, the functions of the advisory board are as follows:

To consult with the Director in determining priorities for the office and in identifying needs and concerns
To serve as a source of expertise to assure the quality and validity of the assessment projects and to improve the operations of the office
To promote SARA and the use of data to inform decisions about resources and services
To generate ideas for furthering the role of SARA within Student Affairs and the Penn State community
To assist in identifying ways to collaborate and cultivate partners in assessment efforts.

Membership
Members include faculty, staff, and students who represent stakeholders of SARA and/or are colleagues and experts in student affairs/higher education research and assessment. Current members on the board are listed on the right side of the page.

Meetings
The Advisory Board meets twice a semester or as needed.
