The Charles and Sharon Bell Scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to undergraduates at PSU who demonstrate leadership and citizenship through service to the community on or off campus.

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State University and who have 1) demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses, and 2) who advocate for or contribute to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community. Preference shall be given to students from New York State. The scholarship will be given out on an annual basis.
