X-RAY SERVICES

GENERAL INFORMATION

University Health Services offers convenient X-ray services to all eligible Penn State students. You must have an order from either a UHS health care provider or an outside health care provider.

The X-ray department is equipped for diagnostic x-ray only (we do not offer special procedures such as fluoroscopy). Patients may request copies of x-rays for on-going care at another health care facility or for other use. These films are copied and are either given to the patient or can be mailed per the patient's request. There is a charge for copies. Penn State employees may also be seen when injured on the job. Visitors and sports camp participants can also utilize this service while on campus.

Certified X-ray technologists will assist you during your visit. Bring your health care provider's referral to the reception desk for Laboratory/X-Ray/Physical Therapy Services located in the basement of Ritenour Building.
