MEN AND EATING DISORDERS

Eating disorders and body image distortion are not limited to females. Men account for approximately 10% of individuals with eating disorders who come to the attention of mental health professionals. Although most of the characteristics of eating disorders apply to both males and females, there are some unique aspects of eating disorders in men.
