ALCOHOL INTERVENTION PROGRAM, LEVEL 1
AIP1 is an educational program aimed toward students involved in low-level alcohol-related violations of
University policy.
This program is offered in the form of a two-hour workshop several times throughout the semester and is
facilitated by a prevention specialist. AIP1 presents accurate information about issues related to alcohol use
and abuse and also challenges students' perceptions of the level of use at Penn State. Additionally, AIP1
provides an opportunity for students to evaluate the consequences of their drinking behavior.
Cost: $100 per student
Referred students should first complete the online Alcohol Assessment prior to contacting the Alcohol Intervention Program at 863-0461 for more information. Further information may also be obtained in the Office of Health Promotion Education in
