VISION: We aspire to enrich our campus community and encourage student involvement by: facilitating leadership development, promoting community service, fostering civic engagement, and supporting student organizations.

MISSION: We are committed to engaging students by providing educational activities, programs, and services that:

•  Support students in developing transferable skills to become effective leaders
•  Connect students with services opportunities that create awareness of social justice issues and community needs
•  Provide students with the resources to establish and sustain diverse and cohesive organizations

WORKSHOPS: SES provides hand-on, interactive, customized, fun and energetic peer-led experiential learning leadership development activities that are specifically designed to focus on a variety of desired outcomes, including effective communication skills, enhanced group dynamics, navigating conflict, and reaching desired goals through consensus building Click here to request a workshop.

PRESENTATIONS: SES provides interactive peer-led, informational presentations that are perfect for the classroom! SES presentations highlight the importance of campus involvement and becoming civically engaged. Presentations are more structured than workshops but flexible enough to meet eh desired outcomes of the specific requester. CONSULTATIONS: SES offers personalized, individual consultations that are designed to help students gain specific information in the areas of student organization development, community service opportunities, and “train the trainer” leadership development activities.
